Beginning Digital Photography (SPRING)

  • Do you want to take better photos? Do you want to understand how your camera works and how to take care of it? Are you ready to go beyond “point-and-shoot” digital photography, then this class is for you. Learn how to take those hundreds of digital photos and make something that you can share and display. Harness your ‘artistic’ side and explore the world of digital photo editing.

This course is designed to teach the three basics of photography and digital photo editing:
    1. What makes a photo “good” vs. “great?”
    2. Correction vs editing.
    3. What to do with all those great photos.

This class will cover digital (and film) photography, cellphone photography, photo editing, file organization, and more.
Students will need to bring their camera / charged smartphone, charging cord, a notebook, and any other accessories you may have questions about.
