Steady Strides - Walking Course (Summer 2026)
This track-based walking class is designed to help participants improve cardiovascular fitness, walking pace, endurance, and overall wellness in a supportive and encouraging environment. Using the track lanes to gauge laps and distance, participants will gradually build stamina while learning pacing techniques and proper walking form. Each class begins with light stretching and warm-up exercises, followed by guided walking intervals focused on increasing speed and endurance. Class concludes with basic cool-down stretches to promote flexibility and recovery. This course is appropriate for a variety of fitness levels and is a great way to stay active, build healthy habits, and enjoy movement at your own pace.
EASY - For novice hikers with little to no experience and fair physical condition.
