Women in the Wilderness: Beyond the Trail (Fall 2026
Step beyond the traditional hike and experience the outdoors in a deeper, more meaningful way. Women in the Wilderness: Wander & Wonder is a four-part seasonal outdoor series designed for those who want to slow down, reconnect with nature, and discover new ways to experience the landscapes around us.
Each month offers a unique outdoor experience inspired by the changing seasons. Through guided walks, sensory exploration, reflection, and hands-on learning, participants will explore nature from different perspectives while building confidence and connection outdoors.
Seasonal adventures may include a mindful forest bathing experience, a destination hike with time for music, reflection, or quiet connection in the woods, an introduction to outdoor skills such as map awareness and navigation, and a winter woods exploration focused on finding beauty and comfort in the quieter season.
This series is designed for adults who enjoy being outdoors, learning new skills, meeting like-minded people, and experiencing nature beyond simply reaching the destination. Come prepared to wander, wonder, and discover something new each season.
