Women in the Wilderness: When the Trail Shifts (Winter 2026)
When The Trail Shifts is a four-week outdoor hiking series designed to help women move with confidence, stability, and awareness on varied trail terrain. Through guided hiking, mindful movement, and practical trail skills, participants will learn to navigate uneven ground, strengthen balance and joints, and respond skillfully when the trail—or the body—shifts. This course emphasizes preparation and skill-building over speed or distance.
It’s ideal for women preparing for future hikes, returning to hiking after time away or injury, or seeking a thoughtful, strength-based approach to trail movement in late winter and early spring.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the series, participants will be able to:-
Navigate uneven or challenging terrain with confidence
-
Apply balance and joint-friendly movement strategies
-
Adjust pace and energy based on trail and conditions
-
Make safe, empowered choices on the trail
-
Build readiness for longer or more difficult hikes
